Responsibilities:
• Design and implement part of the next generation VMware vSphere storage
driver subsystem
• Measure and tune vSphere storage subsystem performance
• Expand storage device support in VMware cloud environment
• As a hands-on developer, be capable of fully understanding the storage
stack and implementing the changes required to improve storage system
performance and usability
Requirements:
• Majoring in Computer Science or related is required
• Working knowledge of modern UNIX/Linux and hands-on experience in
kernel, C, Assembly development, debugging and problem analysis
• Knowledge of file system or storage subsystem
• Knowledge of SCSI is a plus
• Experience in device driver programming is a plus
• Hard-working, and has a can-do attitude
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
