France Telecom R&D Beijing ltd belongs to France Telecom R&D Division which has about 4,000 researchers in 16 centers across the world, including eight in France, two in the United State, one in the United Kingdom, one in Poland and one in Japan.  Based in the Zhongguancun area, France Telecom R&D Beijing aims to serve the group’s development globally through providing innovative telecom services and applications by taking advantages of the rapid market growth and huge talent pools here in China. Six R&D directions have been identified as major axis of development within France Telecom R&D Beijing. They are Network and systems (Ipv6 and NGN), Innovations on usage, VAS and Multimedia Services, Mobile Systems (TD-SCDMA, B3G and WLAN), Mobile and Fixed Convergent Terminals, Emerging Open source (Embedded Linux, etc.), Language and speech processing (ASR, TTS, etc.).  
  

We are opening a new position in our R&D Beijing lab for a Face Recognition Technology Engineer Internship.  
  
  
Job Description:  
  
1. Programm to test the technical features of face recognition providers
2. Build the prototype on Android STB
  
  
Position requirements:
  
Education:

     Master degree or above majored in computer science
  
Special qualification:  
  
     1 Excellent programming skills in C++/C#, experience in Java is plus
     2 Experiences in face detection/recognition are preferred
     3 Quick self-education ability and self-driven motivation

Language skill requirements:
    
     Fluent in spoken/written English  

Work time and duration:
  
     9 a.m. ~ 6 p.m.
     At lease 3 months
