This summer,BT China Research Centre is offering 4 posts for the intern students:
1) Business Research (2 posts);
2) Technical Research(2 posts)
Key responsibilities:
1)To understand BT project owner’s requirements and ensure they are met.
2)To deliver project work to time , as agreed with BT project owner.
3)To report progress of project work to the project manager on the weekly basis through Telepresence, live meeting or audio calls.
4)To provide Consultancy on his/her area of expertise to the assigned project as required.
Qualifications:
University level: 3rd year undergraduate or above (MBA included)
Requirements:
1)For Business Research posts: solid background in computer science, engineering, or mathematics with the business major preferred. Good in analytical skills.
2)For Technical Research posts:
o Degrees in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence or related fields
o Strong programming skills (e.g. Java, Web applications, data handling/databases)
o Strong interest in knowledge engineering and data analytics for building innovative intelligence solutions to business problems
3)Have interests in the innovations in Information and Communication Technologies
4)Need to be able to speak, listen, read and in particular write English well.
5)Good presentation and communication skills.
6)A team worker, fast learner, enthusiastic, self-motivated with attention to detail.
7)Can think out of the box, and is innovative and creative.
8)Have enough free time, to be able to work continuously for 2~3 months starting from early July 2012, and work 4-5 days a week either at BT office or on campus.
