VMware MTS Intern - Server BU


VMware is seeking talented Computer Science or Computer Engineering interns to join our Beijing ESX kernel networking team. Your duties will include:

o Research and study networking optimizer applications and solutions.
o Tuning Linux/Unix OS kernel for high-performance networking applications.
o Design and implement algorithm for data deduction.  
o Design and develop system prototypes.
o Do kernel networking development.

Requirements
o Majoring in Computer Science or related is required
o Able to work at least 3 days for 6 months or longer since 2012 March;
o Must have solid experience and knowledge in Linux kernel.
o Programming languages: C and C++
o Networking knowledge, familiarity with TCP/IP protocols.
o Self starter.
o Excellent written and verbal English communications and organization skills
