Mobile team is a new team in Symantec consumer business unit, whose responsibility is to provide total security solution for Android/iOS platform. The team members are located in Beijing and Chengdu.
Smartphones is surpassing PCs in 2010, and becoming primary personal computing platform. Among all smart phone OS, Android has overcome others to become NO.1 in market share. The openness attribute in Android gives developers more freedom to innovate, but it can also be misused to steal personal privacy info, or misbehave to use network, send SMS, make call without user attention. In addition, the technology to protect data in device, like remote lock, locate, wipe, and backup, are more and more useful, because people use device to store sesitive data and pay bills.
Now, we are finding one iOS/Android related candidate to join us to DEVELOP solution for all above potential threat in iOS/Android platform. In our team, you will have a chance to touch with the latest advance mobile security related technology, meanwhile, you will have a very good chance to improve the communicate skills, especially the English oral speaking, because we are an international team, and need you talk with U.S. engineers in conference call.
Qualifications:
- Solid knowledge of data structure, Linux or Unix
- Solid C/C++ or Java programing skill
- Script language (shell, Python, Perl) experience is plus
- Mobile and Android/iOS development experience a plus
- Good English in both writing and speaking
