Department Overview
Storage and Availability Management Group (SAMG) focuses on providing enterprise and large enterprise customers with storage and server management, data protection, and application performance management solutions across heterogeneous storage and server platforms.  Key products in the Storage and Availability Management Group include Veritas Storage Foundation, Veritas Operations Manager and Application HA product lines. Each of these solutions is available across all major UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems, enabling IT organizations to reduce cost and complexity through standardization on storage and availability management solutions from Symantec.

Responsibility
o    Depending on the team you work in, the responsibilities may vary from the following aspects.
o    Be responsible for development and testing of SORT. SORT is a web site fulfilling  concept of Software as a Service. It’s a customer interface for Symantec products, providing product check services, documents and downloads, etc. you can get more info: http://sort.symantec.com.
o    Be responsible for maintenance of the test status metrics system, work with the development team to add new features, provide stable and efficient service to the QA teams.
o    Be responsible for documentation reviews and providing feedback.

Qualifications
o    Solid OS knowledge in  Linux, Unix or Windows platforms.
o    Good programming skills in C/C++, Perl, PHP, or Shell scripting.
o    Good understanding of software development or software quality assurance is a plus.
o    Experience in Symantec/Veritas storage and high availability solutions is a huge plus.
o    Self-motivated, quick learner, team worker with good problem solving skills.
o    Good at English in reading and writing, fluent oral English is definitely a huge plus.

What kind of people we're searching for:
o    Second year of postgraduate.
o    At least 6-months internship.
o    Working 4 - 5 days per week.
