ABB High Voltage Technology Center, in close collaboration with varied ABB high voltage power product lines globally, is improving product performance and developing new functions and products, to better satisfy customers’ needs. ABB High Voltage Technology Center, located in Beijing, Xiamen and Xi’An, employs over 70 excellent engineers with expertise in full range of high voltage power products and technologies regarding to UHV/HV GIS, PASS, LTB/DTB, disconnector, cable accessory, GCB, capacitor, surge arrester, etc.

Responsibilities
- Perform R&D projects for one or more of below power products, e.g. UHV/HV GIS, PASS, LTB/DTB, disconnector, cable accessory, GCB, capacitor, surge arrester, etc
- Follow up new technologies regarding to focused products, have a clear view of technology development trend
- Ensure a successful execution and provide excellent technical contribution to R&D projects
Requirements
- PhD or master students majored in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, materials or other related areas
- Solid theoretical knowledge and practical skills
- Competence of application-oriented and result-oriented works
- Innovative
- Self-motivated, high curiosity and ability to learn about new technologies
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in both oral and written English
