Communications Server for z/OS(zCS) provides the networking support for the z/OS operating system, which is IBM's strategic operating system for the mainframe. Our organization is part of zCommServ development team with focus to be on development of the new functions and L3 support for old releases.
We are seeking for long term intern candidates with strong technical skills and passion here, 2 for Configuration Assistant development team
We expect the intern candidates can quickly build the ability to work as developers/L3 programmers or functional verification testers, which may include but not limited with
- development/L3 work
produce and use design documentation
develop high quality software
ensure complete Unit test for code
diagnose and recreate customer's problems
find fix and give solution to customer's prbolems
- functional verification work
analysis requirement and design document, generate test plan and test strategy
design test cases, prepare test programs and execute test cases
ensure the quality level of the component meet the quality plan
Technical skills requirements for CA of zCS Dev/FVT intern:
1)HTML/CSS
2)JavaScript/Dojo
3)HTTP/REST/JSON
4)Eclipse
5)RAD/WAS
6)Java
7)z/OS & Communication Server
8)RTC
9)TCP/IP
10)IPSec, TLS
NonTechnical Qualities:
1) Postgraduate in grade one or two, not three.
2) quick learner
3) good team player and willing to take responsibilities
4) creative thinking and passion for technologies
5) can start internship from Sep, 2012 and work full time at least for half a year.
