Full Time Internship at China Financial Services Industry Center of Excellence (Beijing)

China Financial Services Industry Center of Excellence (“the CoE”) helps financial institutions understand and address emerging opportunities in regulations/financial reform, market trends, strategic development, financial innovation, risk management and information, and client services. The CoE provides insight and research to help improve the business performance of China’s financial institutions, i.e., banks, securities companies, insurance, private equity firms and asset management companies, etc.
The CoE in Beijing is currently looking to recruit 1 full time interns for a period of 2months to work on undergoing research projects. The Internship offers an excellent opportunity to enhance one's business research and analysis skills and build knowledge of strategy, marketing, operation and risk management, etc.
Responsibilities:
-Conduct research on specific financial services topics and issues
-Contribute in the CoE's primary and secondary research initiatives. This will include qualitative and quantitative data analysis, case study development, survey design and analysis
-Analyses data from multiple sources and develops newsletters with significant degree of autonomy
-Frames key questions of interest and appropriate research approaches for CoE points of view and published articles
-Undertakes analysis of primary and secondary data under supervision for research projects
Qualifications:
-Demonstrated analytical experience in business research and analysis
-Shows strong service orientation and willingness to be personally accountable and quality standards.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills both in English and Chinese
-High degree of organization and multi-tasking ability
-PhDs in Economics/Finance/Management preferred,MBA/Masters are welcome
-Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills; Ability to think creatively and solve research problems
-A passion for research and data analysis
-Hardworking and be able to deliver work in time
