Job description

IBM China Systems & Technology Lab is seeking outstanding software engineers
to join the NEW System z Software Development organization responsible for
design, code development and test of System z software products. This team i
s an integral part of the STG System z global team and these are technically
challenging and high growth opportunities. In addition, Greater China is a
major contributor for Mainframe revenue and new footprints in the growth mar
kets and our technical team will support this continued strategy.

required:

- C/C++ or Java
- software testing and debugging knowledge
- operating system knowledge
- English: Fluent

preferred:

- System z (incl z/OS) environment or Unix/Linux knowledge
- Assembly language, script language like perl, shell, python etc.
- Communication skills
- Documentation skills
- Formal software development process knowledge
- Application programming using high level programming languages
- Problem solving: analytical ability and creativity in using existing techn
iques to analyze and implement basic software solutions.

- Present oral and written information clearly
- Willing to share information and expertise with individuals and teams to e
nhance effectiveness.
- Work well in a team environment

Qualifications (Education/Major/Certificates):

- Bachelor degree or above candidate in Computer Science or equivalent
- Can work at IBM full time for at least 6 months, and 3 full days per week
- Be graduated in 2014
