Job Description:

EV Assistant Responsibilities:
IAG/DCSG/ ISG/ PED is looking for an Post Silicon Electrical Validation Intern, who will be responsible for

assisting EV engineers to perform HSIO bus SI compliance and margining test with Industry or Intel

recommended test methodology, also, engaging in PRC CID/ISG customers’ issue debugging process.  

Detailed Responsibilities for an EV Intern:      
Proficiently run lab equipment (Oscilloscope, Probe, BERTs, TDR, Function Generator…etc) to perform high

speed IO bus (such as, QPI, PCIE, SATA, USB, DDR…) signal quality compliance test, and generate the formal

report;
Understand high speed IO bus margining test principle, and run ASSET Scanworks to summarize test report;
Understand System BIOS/HW/FW interactive working mechanism, and run DDR3/4 Rank Margin Test to summarize

test report;
Assist EV engineer and lab technician to debug critical customer issues, including setup reference system,

identify and solder the critical signals, and running debugging scenarios…etc
Work with lab technician for lab management including TMEs system management, CRB/HVI/Sample management, lab

safety management, and lab IP/IS audit;

Qualifications
You should be good candidate for a master degree in Electrical Engineering now. Additional qualifications

include:
Understand Intel platform architecture and technologies;
Understand PCB design schematic/layout files;
Understand High Speed Interconnect specifications (such as, PCIe3.0, JEDEC…etc) & compliance requirements,

I/O circuit architecture and basic DFx test features;
Ability to identify and overcome complex technical challenges through structured problem solving techniques;
Work experience in a related validation discipline with focus on silicon or platform level debug and

validation is plus;
Familiarity with ITP/JTAG protocol, scripting languages such as Python SV is a plus;
