Department Overview  
Symantec SEP QA team is responsible for function testing and performance testing for Endpoint Security product, which  is Powered by Insight, the fastest, most powerful endpoint antivirus software solution you can buy for both virtual and physical systems. Endpoint Protection provides state-of-the-art defense against all types of attacks and seamlessly integrates the essential antivirus security tools you need into a single, high performance agent with a single management console. Endpoint Protection provides leading antivirus protection without slowing you down.
  
Responsibilities
o    Create and Execute test cases including manual and automation tests on endpoint security products
o     Review PRD, FSD and test strategy
o     Work with dev and US counterpart to ship high quality product
o     Configuration of test environments with windows environment
o     Verification test results, documentation of tests results and reporting of status, troubleshooting issues
  
Qualifications
o     M.S or B.S in Computer Science or related field  
o     Basic understanding of Windows based operating system fundamentals.
o     Good understanding of network and database
o     Understanding of OOP, such as C++/Java
o    Be familiar with network security is a plus
o    Programming skill in script languages as powershell or python is a plus
o    Quick learning, Self-motivated, can-do attitude, good team work and communication skill are necessary qualities
o     English Language skills are required.
o     At least 3 working days per week.
