WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is a growing and innovative team responsible for
providing self-service order fulfillment services through Amazon.com. FBA
services provide merchants with an extraordinary opportunity of growth
utilizing Amazon’s world renowned fulfillment solutions. FBA technical team
serves 100K+ merchants in the world, and deals with huge customer
requests/data every day. FBA services and business growth present unique
challenges in software development and testing.
FBA is looking for a highly motivated, customer centric Quality Assurance
Engineer (QAE). The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can
remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and has a knack for breaking websites.
QAE has the opportunity to work with the world class Developers, Product
Managers among different counties, and other Quality Engineers to ensure the
proper operation of the production environment. During the development
cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and will
be responsible for developing test automation solutions, improving
testability and troubleshooting problems in association with the development
team.
Basic / Required Qualification
• Senior in college, or currently enrolled in a postgraduate or PhD
program and will graduate in 2014 or 2015
• Deep understanding with QA process and Software Development Life
Cycle
• Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Experience in Sql and can write Sql query
• Experience at least one script languages, JavaScript, Perl, Pyton,
Ruby and etc
• Can coding like Java, C/C++, but not required
Preferred Qualification
• Strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture
• Solid Web Services testing experience
• Understanding of XML, XSD, WSDL, and SOAP and a history working with
web client software
• Working experience in Unit Testing API Frameworks like JUnit and
TestNG
• Knowledge of LINUX/UNIX environment and Shell scripting
