GENERAL SUMMARY/PURPOSE

RealNetworks is now seeking an intern Software Test Engineer to join the QA team and help us to test the product based on Android OS.

The candidate must be creative with strong problem-solving ability, good verbal and written communication skills, and a desire to deliver cutting-edge carrier-class technology in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The software test engineers will work closely with other software test engineers, program managers and software developers to test RealPlayer software. The work responsibility will be including: test planning, test case design, automation test suite development, testing tool and reusable module development, existing test harness maintenance, test execution and bug reporting. The testing environment is base on Linux, Android, and Windows Server.

1    Execute tests, analyze test results and report the issues.
2    Create the test plans, test cases, test reports and other test-related documents    


JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Bachelor degree and above, majors in Computer Science or Telecommunication.
2. Interested in Android application is highly preferred.
3. Solid Software testing basic knowledge is required.
4. The minimum requirement of the intern working period is six (6) months
5. For the summer working period, the requirement of the working day is five (5) days per week.
6. For the non-summer period, the minimum requirement of the working day is four (4) days per week. (You are always welcome to work for 5 days per week in the non-summer period)
