Major Responsibilities:
1.DW data drawing and local data base storage
a.Design local database structure.
b.Develop automatic tool to connect DW and local DB.
c.Simulate the box recommendation logic to analysis data and JAVA/Python.
2.Data cleaning (excel VBA)
a.Learn DW table, do the data screening and cleaning work to be computable, including deleting missing data, removing dirty data like abnormal ASIN dimension, combining duplicated data, adjusting data format, and etc.
b.From ASIN’s GL, analysis its properties to give special logic.
3.Algorithm manual verification
Use sample data and apply the designed algorithm to do the verification; Compare and analyze the basic results of preferred model.
4.Large scale computing extension
Understand algorithm and logic of box suite optimization model, including classical OR algorithm if necessary. Repeat and apply the established model in other FCs with necessary parameter adjustment.
5.Box Suite Optimization Management System(Mysql+PHP)
a.Design UI.
b.Integrate logic of optimization.
c.Give users input, like change box size, add/ remove boxes.
d.Generate Report/metric/summary document by process, by FC for multiple boxes solution.
Qualification:
o Master candidate majored in computer science/ software/ other engineering discipline;
o Strong Analytical skills –ability to ask right questions, exceptional problem solving, and relate, deep dive and analyze data to draw business conclusions with right assumptions
o Technical Skills – ability to understand the complex data relationships and business model; basic knowledge on data extraction mechanisms such as SQL, Excel VBA is needed; Proficiency in JAVA/Python/PHP is preferred; Experience in statistical modeling, financial modeling/analysis and data mining is useful.
o Ability to work effectively & independently in a fast-paced environment, fast learning
o Keen to applying IT technology to solve business requirement.
