Oracle Solaris Desktop QE team are responsible for the quality of Solaris system. We are looking for enthusiastic and talented student with strong sense of responsibilities and good problem solving skills.

Job Description

This position is responsible for Solaris DMA functionalities testing. He/She will:
- develop Solaris device drivers
- develop DMA test cases
- set up testing environment
- execute DMA testing
- write formal test reports
- write complete and accurate bug report
- verify and track bugs
- develop automated testing scripts
- communicate with the DMA development team and driver teams (NIC, storage, etc.) around world

Technical skills required:
- familiar with Unix/Linux system, Solaris preferred.
- proficient with C
- familiar with DMA techniques
- skills in script languages like Perl, Unix Shell, Python, JavaScript
- proficient in both conversational and written English
- able to work on multiple projects in parallel

Additional requirements:
- strong interests in Solaris Kernel testing
- good communication skills and ability to work independently
- familiar with software development and test processes
- MS student in Computer Engineering/Science preferred

This position is responsible for development of testing management system. This system includes the functionalities of project management, task scheduling, wiki page, automated notification, etc. He/She will:
- develop web-based testing management system
- test and maintain the system
- integrate other testing tools with this management system
- communicate with the Solaris Desktop QE team for new demands and feedbacks

Technical skills required:
- familiar with Unix/Linux system, Solaris preferred
- proficient with JAVA
- familiar with Spring, Hibernate, Apache Tomcat, etc
- skills in script languages like Perl, Unix Shell, Python, JavaScript
- proficient in both conversational and written English
- able to work on multiple projects in parallel

Additional requirements:
- strong interests in Solaris testing
- good communication skills and ability to work independently
- familiar with software development and test processes
- familiar with project management
- MS student in Computer Engineering/Science preferred
