Meet Swire's summer interns
Swire values individual career development. During my internship in Shanghai,
everyone understood I would only be there for a very short period of time,
but they trusted me and I was given responsibility very quickly. I still
remember the business trip with my team to Ningbo, which was my very first
such trip. I was given the task to set up the schedule, arrange transportation
and hotel accommodation, and prepare background briefings, I really felt I had
been given ownership of the project.

My name is Jason Li. I am a Swire Group Staff Management Trainee seconded to
Swire Properties. I was on the Swire Summer Internship Programme in 2011 and
I wrote this to give you a better idea of what a career with Swire is really
like.
