  Position Name:  Software Engineer                    
  Position Level: Internship                
  Department/Team: Interactive    
      
      
  General Job Scope:    
         Possess good knowledge on software programming/technical challenges for internet and mobile development with a N-tier architecture    
         Good understanding of software design from concept to implementation    
         Great attitude and problem solving skills in investigating design issues and proposing constructive solutions under    
         Good concept on SDLC, SCRUM or Agile development model    
         Result oriented and able to drive an issue from beginning to completion    
         Good communication skills, able to present defined problem space with technical considerations to the product team    
         Flexible, eager to learn, willing to participate, and most of all, FUN to work with    
        
  Key Responsibility:    
         Deliver source code, unit test, documentation according to product requirements and design specifications    
         Work with mentor and senior team members on issue analysis, design and implement best option solution in the most effective and efficient manner    
         Participate in technical design discussion and contribute to overall solution delivery    
         Provide work estimations on assigned tasks and assist team to meet project resource requirements    
        
  Knowledge / Skills Requirement:    
         Good knowledge of / skills in one or more of the content areas of:    
  -    Communications protocols, web services, servlets    
  -    Java, J2EE, Javascript    
  -    Mobile application development    
  -    TCP/IP, Weblogic, Tomcat    
  -    Software applications security    
  -    Regulatory requirements as relates to software development    
         Basic project management knowledge      
         Good customer empathy    
         Self-driven and outstanding time management    
         Proactive software engineering design processes    
        
  Nice to have:    
         Flash, ActionScript, FLEX
