U.S law firm with 140 years of history and an established reputation looking for intern in Beijing.  Will receive training from U.S. international business lawyer.


Duties:

1)      General assistance of U.S. lawyer in researching and developing U.S.-China international business opportunities. Follow up with business development leads. Some communications with investment bankers and private equity fund managers may be involved.  

2)      Preliminary research on M&A deal counterparties for US and Chinese companies, investment banks, and private equity firms.

3)      Research on US companies and individuals that can help Chinese companies looking to do business in the US.  Examples include identifying consultants, sales representatives, financiers’ for Chinese clients.  

4)      Translation of English and Chinese documents.


Qualification Requirements:

1)      Strong abilities in both Chinese and English language research.

2)      Proficient in international business transactions and terminology in Chinese and English.  

3)      Deep understanding of Chinese companies’ desires and needs when doing business overseas in developed countries.  

4)      At least a basic understanding of finance and accounting.  

5)      Prefer understanding/experience in industries such as automotive, manufacturing, or oil-gas.  
6）     Business school students preferred.
