Job description: We are currently seeking part-time college interns to assist in business development, marketing, and language translation. This is an excellent and unique opportunity to get involved in an early-stage, dynamic international start-up. Interns will work closely with the Co-Founders, both of whom worked in strategy consulting prior to founding this new venture.

Intern responsibilities might include:
o    Business development and sales
o    Leverage existing networks to build interest in our mentorship model
o    Building an increasingly robust social media presence in China
o    Translating and perfecting marketing materials in Chinese
o    Market research and survey design
o    Managing other interns (Top interns will gain extensive management experience)

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess most of the following skills/traits:
o    Passion for international education and entrepreneurship
o    Infectious enthusiasm in a sales and marketing context
o    Demonstrated analytical and creative abilities
o    Motivation and drive with minimal guidance
o    Access to a large network of international education contacts
o    Experience in digital marketing
o    Recommended: Relative fluency in English

Note: Given the early-stage nature of this start up, interns will not be compensated financially in the short-term. However, successful interns that demonstrate a commitment to Shearwater’s mission may be offered paid positions as the company continues to grow.
