Position: Wireless Software Development and Test Engineer
Location: Nanjing, Shanghai
Job Description:
1. Contribute to Wireless products evolution and development strategy
2. Responsible for software system engineering, software development and validation testing. Coding program and test standard compliance/evolution, according to new customer requested or innovated functionality in R&D organization.
3. Technical support for issues reported from customer sites, replicate the site failures in R&D laboratory environment to isolate faults and perform in-depth investigation, provide solution and code change against software bug.
Qualifications:
1. Education background: Master or above. Major in Telecommunication, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, or related.
2. Specific Skills, knowledge and competencies:
- Basic knowledge of Telecommunication System and Protocol knowledge
- Good programming expertise in Linux/Unix
- Good expertise in software development and testing with C/C++, JAVA
- Good knowledge of software development process, software product life cycle. Software methodologies such as OOD and UML is preferred
- Basic knowledge of embedded systems and real time application development is preferred
3. Language Ability: Fluent in both oral and written English
4. Plus:
- Experience with Wireless communication system (LTE/GSM/CDMA/WCDMA) is a plus
- End to end network architecture and solution design experience is a plus
- Familiar with 3GPP physical layer and interface protocols is a plus
- Experience with automation testing system development is a plus
- RF or base band algorithm knowledge is a plus
- DSP and/or FPGA development & validation experience for radio interface physical layer and radio frequency (RF) is a plus
- Wireless link level, including both baseband and radio, simulation knowledge with C or MATLAB is a plus
