Team Description:
IBM CDL Big Data development team is working on IBM BigInsights product, with world-wide development teams. IBM BigInsights is a software platform for discovering, analyzing, and visualizing data from disparate sources. It includes open source components(Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Oozie,...) and IBM enterprise features. IBM BigInsights is a very important product in IBM Big Data strategy and IBM CDL Big Data development team has rich experience and strong competence on Big Data areas.
      
Job responsibility:  
- Java development on open source components(hadoop/hbase/hive) related areas
- Open source components performance tuning
- Big Data cluster setup and monitoring

Job Requirements (skills/experiences)
- Strong technical skills on Java programming
- Strong technical skills on Linux and shell programming
- Familiar with one of open source projects(hadoop/hbase/hive) will be a great plus
- Quick learner  

Personal Qualities
- Passion on programming and technology
- Master preferred
- Quick learner
- Good teamwork spirit

Other
- Work for 2.5 months
- 4 days per week at least
