We are seeking talented Computer Science or Computer Engineering Intern to join EMC labs China and ASD joint-team.

At EMC, we're leading customers on their journey to cloud computing by enabling them to store, manage, protect and analyze their information assets in a more agile, trusted and cost-effective way. If you're passionate about cloud technologies (including Big Data, Hadoop, etc.) and working in an ambitious and highly visible project please apply for this position.

The potential candidate would be a member of the Software Engineering team to develop  a next generation cloud computing platform. The flagship product is envisioned to be utilized by the largest companies in the world to enable hybrid clouds.

Role and responsibilities:
o    Works with a mentor to understand project concept, objectives and approach to develop the project.
o    Develop unit tests for the library to make sure that it has good quality.
o    Resolve related bugs reported from QA or our customers

Qualifications / Requirements:
o    BS or MS in Computer Science or Equivalent
o    Good communication skills, good in written and oral English

Essential Knowledge/Skills:
o    Looking for engineers with project experience in Java and web development
o    Strong working knowledge of web services, REST.
o    Strong attention to details
o    Familiar with Spring framework.
o    Comfortable working to handle the concurrent products/releases and manage the priorities changes.
o    Work 4~5 days per week for 6 months or longer

Desirable Knowledge/Skills:
o    Familiar with storage, storage management and system management is a plus.  
o    Familiar with UNIX/Linux environment
