Transportation Business Analyst Intern
Location: Beijing
Amazon China Trans team is seeking a business analyst with strong analytical and mathematical modeling skills to: a) modeling and optimize Amazon logistic network, including delivery station topology, delivery coverage and delivery routing; b)build up/track operational metrics and assess Amazon's existing C-return data(return rate, return reason, return performance) for process improvement.
This is a good opportunity to apply optimization/simulation and mathematical modeling skills in real world problem.
This will be also a wonderful exposure to Amazon's world class operation practice.
Basic Qualifications
- Master/PHD degree candidate in management science, industrial engineering, mathematics or related areas in quantitative discipline.
- Familiar with operation research modeling, Mixed Integer Linear Programming, heuristic algorithm.
- Experience with simulation tools.
- Strong data analyze related experiences (database query and analysis), familiar with SQL and excel.
- Effective problem-solving skills; Creative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written form, including English
- Self-motivation
- Good mathematical modeling skills is a plus
