Pivotal, a Data Compute Division of EMC, is a market leading software provider in Big Data/Data Warehouse market. We are leading on the areas of enterprise data cloud solutions for large-scale data warehousing and analytics. Pivotal is building edge technology, e.g., shared-nothing MPP architecture, to enable BI and analytical processing using commodity hardware, on the big data in Cloud.

In the Cloud era, Pivotal is growing much faster since we built and are building hi-tech in this field. Now we have development and test teams in China working on Pivotal database,  Hadoop, and Chorus.

Pivotal Database team is looking for talents who are interested in database area and have good technical competency. Below is the basic requirement:

1.    Some experience on database, PostgreSQL experience is highly preferred but not must.
2.    Good capability of coding in any language. Python preferred.
3.    Understanding of basic testing
4.    Experience on Mac OS and/or Linux.  Basic shell script preferred.
5.    Quick learner and good team work
6.    Enthusiasm to learn Hi-tech on database and MPP.
  
We provide 6 to 12 months internship for good students. Looking forward to your joining us.
