Key Responsibilities:
The controls engineer will work within the China controls team to develop advanced diesel engine controls system.

This work includes:
Work closely with other technical functions both inside China and globally, as part of the global team to develop advanced electronic engine products to meet latest emission requirements.
Calibrate engine control system to meet design requirements.
Develop and execute verification and validation plans to ensure the products meet Cummins design targets.
Solve problems during development and application of the electronic engines.
Support internal and external customers on training, trouble shooting and problem solving.
Lead cross-functional reviews.

Requirements:
MS in Internal Combustion engines, or automotive engineering or electronics engineering, or related technical fields.
Understanding of embedded controls software.
Understanding of controls theory, such as PID controller.
Understanding of engine performance, emission and aftertreatment system.
Excellent written and spoken English skills.
