The Role
We are looking for a talented intern with a passion for data to help us build a 'web scraper' that will play an integral role in feeding App Annie's internal database. As a company that thrives on data it is important that we remain as well informed as possible, and this role will contribute directly to our ability to understand the market as accurately as possible.
Responsibilities
o Support the team to develop a web scraper for use with advertisement networks
o Play an active role in the performance and throughput improvement of the spider framework
o Participate in the design of data mining, data storage and data presentation
You
o Bachelor of computer science or related degree
o Familiar with at least one programming language, Python is preferred
o Experience working with web spider a big plus
o Enjoy programming and data mining
