Internship Position:    
    
    
    
Successful US-China investment bank with owner having closed multiple IPO deals on Wall Street is seeking an intern in Beijing. Compensation at end of internship can be considered depending on success. Will mostly work remotely.  
    
    
    
Duties:  
    
    
    
1) General assistance for the firm in researching and analyzing China outbound international business opportunities. Follow up on business development leads. Some communications with company executives and investment bankers and private equity fund managers may be involved.  
    
    
    
2) Research on M&A deal counter-parties for Chinese and Western companies, investment banks, and private equity firms.  
    
    
    
3) Work on bond issuance and securitization. Financial analysis.    
    
    
    
4) Prepare professional PPTs in English and Chinese.  
    
    
    
Qualification Requirements:  
    
    
    
1) Must have very strong abilities in both Chinese and English language research.  Ability to uncover difficult to find information on private companies. Highly prefer experience with Bloomberg and other data tools.  
    
    
    
2) Proficient in international business transactions and terminology in Chinese and English. Understanding of finance and accounting. Financial modeling ability preferred.  
    
    
    
3) Deep understanding of Chinese companies’ desires and needs when doing business overseas in developed countries.  
    
    
    
4) Highly prefer understanding/experience in specific industries, such as automotive, advanced manufacturing or IT.  
    
    
    
5) Business school students/graduates preferred.
