Business Analyst Intern

This position will provide technical support to transportation finance team.
This position will cooperate with other business partners and get much
exposure to the production and automation of business reports or metrics as
well as database operation.
If you are detail oriented, sensitive to data and passionate on using data
provide guidance to business, this might be a perfect opportunity for you get
into real business world. You need to be familiar with SQL, Excel, some
program languages and statistical tools. This individual will help our
financial analysts to produce a vast amount of information in order to
provide accurate insights into our operations.

Basic Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other quantitative
discipline.
(1) 70% Trans/SC weekly, monthly reports
(2) 15% Automate existing manual work
(3) 15% developing various metrics/models required by internal finance
departments

Essential Skills:
(1) Knowledge of SQL is a must.
(2) Background and/or knowledge in a programming language are strongly
desired.
(3) Communication skills in both Chinese and English are recommended.
(4) Outstanding attention to detail, problem solving, and analytical skills.
(5) Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines in a fast-paced
environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with Excel is a plus.
Background or experience in Excel VBA is a big plus.
