1,Platform NCG/Intern JD:
· Work with senior engineers in the team to design/implement complex software features for DataDomain products
· Interaction with Operation Team and internal/external vendors at making and qualifying the platform software requirement
· Participate in full development cycle, from design to qualification and customer support.
· MS in CS related areas
· Solid programming skills on C/C++ and Perl/Ruby
· Strong development experience with Unix/Linux system
· Good communication skills in both Chinese and English
· Experience of dealing with low level system/platform details is highly preferred
· Strong knowledge and experience with build, test automation and test infrastructure development will be a big plus
· Quick learner, self-starter, flexible, adaptable, be proactive and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
2,IO Intern JD:
The candidate will be responsible for developing the SAS driver and related IO modules for Data Domain’s new IO Stack infrastructure.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Design, implement and execute new SAS, SCSI, SSD new feature functional tests
- Work on SAS, SCSI, SD features development in next generation EMC/DD product
- Support bug fixes and customer escalations
- Follow implementation through QA and Beta customer installations, ensuring quality software delivery.
- Perform complete error analysis for all hardware components errors reflected through the IO sub-system.
Requirements:
- BS, MS or Ph.D. candidate in CS/EE
- Knowledge in platform design, device drivers, and Linux OS kernel a plus
- Knowledge on I/O details (SAS, SATA, SCSI) a plus
- Good communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Good spoken & written English skills
- Quick learner
- Highly motivated, quick learner, and team player.
