*Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for developing the SAS driver and related IO module for Data Domain?s new IO Stack infrastructure. Specific responsibilities will include:
-          Design, implement and execute new SAS HBA driver functionality unit test
-          Work on SAS & RAID features development, bug fixes and customer escalations
-          Follow implementation through QA and Beta customer installations, ensuring quality software delivery.
-          Perform complete error analysis for all hardware components and make sure that all hardware errors are handled through the IO sub-system.
Critical Hiring Criteria
Requirements:
-          BS, MS or Ph.D. candidate in CS/EE  
-          Knowledge in platform design, device drivers, and Linux OS kernel a plus
-          Knowledge on I/O details (SAS, SATA, SCSI) a plus
-          Good communication skills
-          Good problem solving skills
-          Good spoken & written English skills  
-          Quick learner
-          Highly motivated, quick learner, and team player.
