Software Developer Intern
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance applications and services.
Invent novel solutions to challenging problems.
Diagnose and debug issues in a production environment.
Collaborate with researchers, program managers, and product designers in an open, creative environment.
Qualifications:
BS degree at least in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
1-2 years demonstrated coding skills in Java/C#/C/C++ or other related programming languages.
Experience in building data-driven services and applications is a plus.
Independent, energetic, highly technical, and capable of driving for results under pressure and ambiguity.
Language requirement: Chinese proficiency is required; good written and oral communication in English.
Time requirement: Hulu Beijing intern recruiting is a year-round program. Part-time (25hr/week) internship for at least 5 months or full-time (40hr/week) internship for at least 3 months.
Research Intern - Video Coding
Responsibilities:
Conduct research work on improving video encoding quality utilizing domain knowledge
Improve subjective evaluation mechanism and conduct subjective evaluation
Build tools/systems to make research work on video coding more efficiently
Work close with other researchers / devs on video encoder efficiency optimization
Qualifications:
PhD or master in Information Science / Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Software Engineering and other relevant majors
Knowledge and expertise in video coding, video quality assessment or video processing
Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Familiar with at least one programming language such as C/C++, Python
The following experiences/skills will be plus: experience in subjective video quality assessment and related optimization; familiar with video / image filtering; knowledge in video coding standard such as H.264; experience in video encoder optimization; familiar with video coding platforms such as JM / X264 / HM
Passion for technology and open to interdisciplinary work; highly motivated, independent and proactive

Research/Research Software Development Intern
Responsibilities:
Utilize data mining and machine learning methods to help delivery right ads to right users, and make our users have first of class ad experience
Utilize statistics, game theory and optimization skills to help sales, planning and other ad teams make most efficient decision
Build ad tools/systems to make all ad teams work efficiently
Work close with other researchers on moving our machine learning algorithms/ platform to Spark
Qualifications:
Master or PhD in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering/ Software Engineering and other relevant majors
Knowledge and expertise in machine learning, data mining or other relevant areas
Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Familiar with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Scala, and etc.
The following experiences/skills will be plus: deep Github/linux OS user, open source project experience, experience in building data-driven services and applications, has publications in top conference such as ICML/KDD/IJCAI/AAAI/etc.

Responsibilities：
参与公司前瞻性产品的规划，构思，设计。
分析归纳产品人机交互界面需求。
熟练使用软件进行交互界面结构、用户操作流程的设计。
熟练使用软件进行图形界面设计。
能够用代码实现简单的交互原型。
乐于分享设计心得并总结收获。
Qualifications：
设计以及计算机相关专业研究生。
具有较强逻辑思维能力，有条理并且具有创造力。
熟练使用图形设计软件，有较强视觉设计技能。
