Energy Intern
A boutique advisory firm is looking for an Energy Intern to help facilitate cross border M&A deals in the energy industry.
Energy Intern Job Description:
Help Principles source new deals and perform due diligence. Prepare for client meetings and assist in deal closings.
Energy Intern Job Duties:
o Interns will perform a variety of market research and due diligence on potential deals for both Chinese investment opportunities and North American and Europe opportunities.
o Develop the deal pipeline by preparing reports on the macro energy market; produce lists of companies with background and financial information;
o Qualify target clients by qualitative and financial due diligence; translation of partnership and sales contracts.
o Report on the public markets by tracking listed energy companies and commodity prices, including relevant industry news and corporate actions.
o Assist in client meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and draft presentations.
Energy Intern Skills and Qualifications Requirements:
o Self starter with entrepreneurial spirit.
o Desire to work in a foreign company in an unstructured entrepreneurial environment.
o Bachelor degree in Petroleum Business, Petroleum Engineering or Geology is preferred.
o Native Mandarin, Fluent in English, reading and writing.
o At least 1 year of experience in the energy industry
