英特尔软件与服务部（SSG）正在开发大规模机器学习的参考解决方案(
https://github.com/intel-machine-learning/DistML)，主要目标是为开发部署大规模机器学习的算法和应用提供一个简单，健壮，可扩展的机器学习平台，我们真诚的希望优秀的学生能够加入进来和我们一起工作。
人数：1人
主要职责：
- 评估流行的分布式计算平台，例如Hadoop, Spark以及GraphLab等。
- 设计开发关于深度学习的计算平台/应用以及测试程序
- 解决开发中的问题以及在x86平台上的性能优化
- 撰写技术文档
能力要求：
- 计算机科学，计算机工程，数学，电子工程或相关专业的硕士或博士学位（或在读）
- 熟悉Linux运行环境
- 扎实的Java/Scala或C/C++编程功底
- 实习期至少6个月，每周至少保证4天的工作
有下列知识的学生会优先考虑：
- 机器学习的相关背景（数学，算法，…）
- 有Yarn， Spark, Akka, Netty, Caffe的实践经验
- 有图像分类（ImageNet)，语音识别或者视频分析的项目经验

Job Description: Software Engineer (Intern)
Intel Software and Service Group is developing a solution to address the challenges of Big Data Analytics and Large-Scale Machine Learning. The kernel work is to deliver a robust and scalable platform which can make the development of large scale machine learning algorithms and applications easy and straightforward. To help our work, we are now looking for intelligent interns to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate popular platforms, such as Hadoop, Spark, Tachyon, MemCacheD, GraphLab, etc.
- Design/develop deep learning platform/applications/sub-systems and test package
- Resolve issues and optimize performance on IA platform
- Prepare technical documentation
Qualifications:
- Own or pursuit bachelor/master/doctor degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Electrical Engineering or relevant majors
- Knowledge on Linux, typical commands and its runtime environment
- Solid skills on Java programming
- At least 4-days per week available in ~ 6 months
Highlight Plus:
- Machine learning and deep learning related background (e.g., math, algorithm…)
- experience on Yarn, Spark, Akka, Netty, etc. are preferred.
- experience on Image Classification(ImageNet), Speech Recognition or Video Analysis
