Description: The equity analyst is to work directly under the portfolio manag
ers to perform equity research during Asian hours with a focus on China and H
ong Kong equity market.

Responsibilities:
o    Performing equity research to provide recommendations for equity secu
rity selection
o    Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and analysis to support
portfolio managers in investment management decision making process
o    Review market news and analysts commentaries to provide summary for s
entiment of market, market developments, and sector analysis
o    Provide information about financial product, markets, companies, trad
ing environment (including basic technical indicators)
o    Regular working hours is from 8AM to 6PM

Qualification:
o    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, economics, mathematics, or related fie
ld
o    Internship experience in trading or equity research role
o    Working experience with Wind for equity research and pulling data is
a plus
o    Highly competent research and analytical ability for both quantitativ
e and qualitative
o    Ability to work with a value adding mindset in a team-oriented enviro
nment and also able to work independently
o    Highly self motivated, and have drive and desire to go above and beyo
nd what is explicitly asked
o    Good English reading and writing ability
o    Must be organized, strong attention to detail, and highly accurate
