Job Description:
1.ASIC Physical Design engineer
As a senior member of our ASIC-PD team, you'll be working on streamlining
the chip infrastructure process across product designs, focusing on full
chip layout planning (partitioning, planning clock distribution and other
structure, methodology), partition/full chip timing closure (primetime
scripts, other tools, etc) and gate-level design of high-speed logic
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Chip integration and netlist generation
-Synthesis, Formal verification, netlist quality check
-Work in conjunction with Place and Route Engineers to achieve timing
closure for both partition level and full chip level
-Develop and enhance entire timing flow from frontend (pre-layout) to
backend (post-layout) at both chip and block level.
-Develop custom timing scripts using tcl/primetime for clock skew analysis,
special circuits such as clock dividers, core logic <-> IO macros interfaces
such as PCI-E, Frame-Buffer/Memory, TMDS, etc.
-Develop flow to physically partition and floorplan the entire chip.
-Develop scripts for performing ECO's.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- relevant ASIC experience ideally with a focus in the chip integration
/synthesis/formal and timing closure
- Excellent scripts skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to multiplex many issues, set priorities, and work in a team
environment
- Keep up to date with leading edge technologies
2. Power Analysis Engineer
Power methodology/analysis team is responsible for researching power
expenditures and workload efficiency to identify architectural, micro-
architectural strategies to improve power efficiency of the next generation
GPU and TEGRA chips.
Responsibilities:
• Develop the power flow to automate the power expenditures
measurement.
• Evaluate new low-power technologies and improve chip power
efficiency on architectural level.
• Support GPU/TEGRA RTL designers using the power flow and improve
their power efficiency on micro-arch level.
• Understand and perform block level and chip-level power analysis.
Requirements:
• MSEE/MSCS with experience on ASIC related areas.
• Familiar with advanced low power techniques and high speed
clocking desired.
• Experience in low power ASIC design/verification.
• Programming languages: Strong Verilog (or VHDL), Strong scripting
languages skills, preferred Perl, Tcl/python/C ++ is a plus.
• Tool Familiarity: VCS simulation tool is must, PTPX, Synopsys
Design Compiler, Power Artist is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to be good at teamwork.
• Excellent English writing/speaking skills.
3. MOBILE GRAPHICS TOOLS SOFTWARE ENGINEER
The successful Mobile Graphics Tools Software Engineer will work with the
NVIDIA Mobile Graphics Tools team to harness the power of Tegra GPU for
developers worldwide.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong C++ and C skills
- Good understanding of OOP
- Advanced knowledge of GPU architecture or experience with GPU performance
tuning a big plus
- Math - Linear Algebra, Computational Geometry, Numerical Analysis,...
- Ability to work with a team of engineers on a single project.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to deliver software on time
- OpenGL and/or Direct3D experience, as well as 3D graphics experience, is
helpful
- High performance programming under mobile/embedded platforms is a big
plus.
- Mobile/Embedded graphics driver experience is a big plus.
4.GPU PROFILING ENGINEER

their systems/applications using the low-level API that you contributed to
as a member of the Foundations Developer Tools team. Innovate as you

market with sophisticated simulation/emulation systems and be among the

The NVIDIA Developer Tools team is seeking a senior software developer to
join our effort to advance the state of graphics performance analysis and
tuning. The successful candidate will apply knowledge of graphics
programming models and graphics architecture to create tools that provide
actionable feedback to graphics developers. The candidate should be
comfortable working in existing driver code and application code as well as
writing new shared libraries and targeted GPU performance tests. The focus
of this position is to work on tools support for our Mobile, Automotive and
Embedded platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with tools, architecture and driver teams to design, implement, and
verify new performance metrics and collection methods for Tegra GPUs.
- Develop new tools for Tegra SoC running Android, Linux, and other embedded
operating systems.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong programming ability in C, C++, and scripting languages.
- Knowledge of OpenGL, OpenGL ES, DirectX, or console graphics API.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- CUDA or OpenCL
- Driver experience
- Good understanding of embedded environments such as embedded Linux,
Android, or a real-time OS.
5. Developer Technology Engineer (D3D)
Description/
Qualifications: Work with some of the most talented cutting-edge
developers throughout the world. Interact closely with the architecture and
driver teams at NVIDIA in ensuring the best possible experience on current
generation hardware, and on determining trends and features for next
generation architectures. Play with the latest GPU technology to develop new
techniques using GPUs, create technical demos, write whitepapers and present
your work at conferences. Collaborate with developers on 3D rendering
effects and optimizations for specific applications.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong knowledge of 3D graphics and GPU technologies, including shaders,
shading languages, and rendering techniques.
- Master in DirectX or OpenGL development.
- Experience in game development or game related products.
- Strong knowledge of C++ and programming techniques a plus.
- Understanding of GPU architectures a plus.
- Good communication skills required.
- Travel for on-site visits with developers and to conferences will be
required.
