ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Freewheel Media, Inc., a leading fast growing Video Adserving company is seeking an Intern for the Dev-Operations team. You will contribute to our monitoring platform and understand how a global business runs utilizing thousands of servers operating under a complex applications matrix. You will learn modern practice of software delivery including the model of operating an advanced software system and the concept of continuous deployment. You will have the opportunity to work alongside top talent Engineers in a fast growing tech environment. This internship will give you a chance to demonstrate and sharpen your detail oriented, teamwork, plus analytical and problem solving skills. Aside from the technical aspects, the ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated, reliable and a fun addition to the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Work with senior members of the Dev-Operations team to develop applications for FreeWheels’s mission critical monitoring system
o Participate in designing and implementing FreeWheel’s next generation software delivery automation platform
o Work with Engineering team to help identify problems and troubleshoot internal applications
o Help support JIRA/Confluence/SVN/Jenkins and other development systems
ABOUT YOU
o Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts and design patterns
o Good understanding of RDMBS (Experience using MySQL/MongoDB a plus)
o Familiarity with programming/scripting (Java/Python/Java/Shell is a plus)
o Familiarity with Linux System (Red Hat/Centos is a plus)
o Awareness of Source Code Version Control (GIT/Subversion a plus)
o Proficient written and verbal communication skills using English.

FourFronts是一个私有广告交易市场(Private Marketplace)，卖方可以通过交易将剩余广告流量变现，而买方则可以获取更多流量以应对广告需求的增长。同时，FourFronts还可以帮助媒体客户对接包括程序化购买平台和电视广告平台在内的多种变现渠道并最大化其视频流量的商业价值。
o Advisory Service
Advisory Service是FreeWheel对媒体客户提供的业务咨询服务。基于客户在FreeWheel平台上的大量数据，我们分析视频广告行业的趋势并提供季度行业分析报告。同时我们基于客户数据挖掘反应其业务表现的深层次信息，并基于这些信息帮助客户分析和改进业务。
核心技术
o 库存预测
综合考虑历史观看流量、视频内容季节性以及突发事件等因素，预测媒体客户未来长达18个月的视频观看流量并以此指导客户的广告销售策略。
o 受众定向
基于FreeWheel和第三方数据管理平台(DMP)生成的上亿用户画像，根据用户的年龄、性别、职业、收入以及购物兴趣等标签进行精准广告定向和投放。
o 广告决策
在百万量级并发请求的条件下综合考虑媒体收益、曝光转化率、承诺曝光次数、投放速率、频次控制以及广告排他性等因素，做出快速准确的广告投放决策。
o 广告测量
支持包括点击、可见曝光在内的多种行业标准广告测量方式，基于机器学习方法预测特定用户在特定视频观看场景下的曝光转化率并以此指导广告决策。
o 优化变现
作为为媒体客户服务的供应方平台，在包括媒体自卖广告、广告网络、广告交易平台、需求方平台等多种变现渠道中为媒体选择最优的流量变现方式。
o 数据分析
基于每天TB量级的广告投放日志，通过实时计算和离线计算生成各类业务报表和广告结算账单，并通过对数据的分析和挖掘帮助客户了解和改进业务。
