职位一： ECD intern (优先考虑研一的同学)
o    The 2 interns will help on developing and sustaining ECD Docsci xPression product automation test framework, adding more automation test cases to improve the automation coverage.  After we get a good shape on automation, they will help on bug verifications.
o    
o    Docsci xPression product is customer communication management system. The server is based on Java EE. The desktop clients are developed with .Net, C++ and javascript.
o    
o    It is better we can get the interns onboard as early as possible. I hope it is arround the end of May or early June. They can stay in our team for one year. They should be able to make sure 4 days office work per week at least.

o    Ability to learn new technology quickly

o    Intern 1:
o    Programming experience on .Net and C#

Intern for ViPR Infra team
Qualifications / Requirements:
o    Has engineering experience on enterprise software
o    BS or MS in Computer Science or Equivalent
o    Grade one MS is preferred
o    
Essential Knowledge/Skills:
o    Strong coding skills and knowledge of with data structure/algorithms
o    Strong working knowledge of Java, Spring, Web Services, REST.
o    Working experience with distributed system
o    Working experience on Linux or UNIX
o    Basic reading/writing English ability
Desirable Knowledge/Skills:
o    Familiarity with NoSQL database Cassandra, and distributed coordination Zookeeper is a big plus.
o    Familiarity with storage, storage management and system management is a big plus.

Mandatory

职位四：DD Dev Intern – Linux Kernel
This candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Linux kernel for EMC's DDR storage appliance.  Job responsibilities include
Develop and maintain Linux kernel Distro in DDOS (DataDomain OS)
Design and implement Kernel engineering verification test suite
Qualifications and factors for success:
o    MS in computer science or similar field
o    Basic knowledge with Linux kernel/Distro development
o    Hands-on experience with Redhat, CentOS or any Linux is a big plus.
o    Good programming in C and scripting

Desired Skills/ Experience:
Good, meaningful, recent research or development experience with one or more of the following is required.  All in all, you loves those techniques and want to spend great amount of time on it and dive deeply into it.
o    Database kernel or related internals
o    In-memory object stores
o    SQL on hadoop
o    Machine learning
o    Query execution or cost based query optimization
o    Highly scalable, distributed, data driven applications
o    Linux systems code development in c/c++ and/or golang/python
o    Products deployed in highly available, mission critical, enterprise environments

Optional, but highly desirable skill sets:
o    A deep understanding of Postgres internals from versions 8.2 to 9.x
o    Domain knowledge of high speed transaction processing, or resource management, or high scale scheduling
o    Development experience with in-memory grid systems
o    Extremely large scale application development – data systems in the multi-petabyte range
o    Exposure to pair-programming, test-driven development, continuous integration and other agile or XP engineering practices
o    Experience with the challenges of testing distributed systems.
