Responsibilities:
Specific duties include, but may not be limited to:
Design and develop Zuora’s next generation products, including Order/Subscriptions, Billing, Payments, Finance and Revenue products.
Design and implement innovative and exemplary Subscription Platform and Applications using cutting edge technologies.
Understand the platform needs of other functional areas, and provide design and development assistance as required.
Advocate, document, and follow best design and development practices.
Qualifications/Skills:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
Bright, highly self-motivated and driven team player.
Passionate about Software Development.
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
Ability to solve problems quickly.
Ability to multi-task and stay organised in a dynamic work environment.
Attention to detail.
Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal/communications skills.
Exposure to programming languages (Java, Python, etc)
Exposure of relational databases, SQL, and JDBC.
Exposure to web programming -- AJAX, HTTP, HTML, Javascript (jQuery, AngularJS or D3) and CSS
Working knowledge of modern web technologies including cloud based APIs and protocols (SOAP, REST, JSON)
Passionate and knowledgeable about exploring and experimenting with the latest application development technologies
Have great ideas, and can run with them to produce great results.
