Position: Project Management Assistant
Company: Siemens Financial Services Ltd., Global Market Department, Business Development Team.
Description:
1.    Responsibilities:
a)    Maintain VBA code in automated reports (eg. Chinese inter-bank investment analyses)
b)    CNY Cashpool Project: you will be responsible to handle and maintain VBA-based templates that supports daily CNY Payments
c)    Assist in VBA coding lessons for colleagues
d)    Engage in weekly meetings with partners banks (Deutsche Bank, HSBC and ICBC)
e)    Build automated reporting and analytical tools using VBA
f)    Other Siemens IT Projects
2.    Team Atmosphere:
a)    The team consists of two supervisors, both American
b)    You will have autonomy to ultimately manage your own mini project. The team will support your idea and you will be responsible for implementing it
c)    We have a relatively flat organization structure – you can have direct input in all aspects of the organizational functions
d)    We are in the same department with Trading Desk, so you will have direct chances to observe inter-bank trading;
e)    The intern alumni list is extremely competitive, with prior members moving on to Tsinghua University, London Business School, Columbia University, Stanford, and Carnegie Mellon.
3.    Requirements:
a)    Available for 5 days per week at least for 5 months, starting from Late June or Early July(no later than July.04/2016). Must maintain student status;
b)    Should have experiences with coding in at least one of the following languages: VB, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, Java; VBA is the most commonly used language here
c)    Must be fluent in English
4.    Compensations, Hours and Locations:
a)    120 RMB/Day, pre-tax. 9:00AM-5:30PM;
b)    Siemens Center Beijing (Wangjing). Cafeteria has 3 meals daily.
