Title: Commercial Finance Solution Executive
Job Description:
o Part of APJC Deal Operations Team focusing on fast moving transactional non-standard deals that are low to medium complexity but high in volume
o Provide support to the core Commercial Finance team in view of Country Enablement Type deals
o Serves as single point-of-contact with Sales and Finance organizations on deal details for MDM transactions.
o Follow deal operations rules to faciliate non-standard deals approval process in accordance with Theater approval matrix and SOX requirements
o Holistic margin and/or profitability analysis (pricing, discounts, etc.)
o Performs scenario analysis on key deal parameters during deal structuring cycle if required
o Risk assessment and exposure management
o Holistic (product and service, including AS-T) structuring and/or packaging guidance to Sales Proactively engages product and service Sales teams
o Serves as a conduit between the AM/SAM and S&SF/AS Finance Controllers to help address timing issues around product and service elements on a deal
o Ensures the relevant information is provided to Corporate Revenue in order for assessment
o Performs FV assessment and other supporting financial analysis through deal approval
o Routes deal for functional assurance (Corp Rev, BU, Legal etc.), if required.
o Incorporates macro perspective into deal guidance to ensure that deals make overall Cisco business sense (precedent setting, pricing/discounts across segments/geographies and product family)
o Detailed understanding of Finance and accounting policies, including revenue recognition issues
o Maintains extensive knowledge of product and service offerings (Product, CA: Core TSS, AS-T/AS-S, etc.)
o Understand prevailing frame/master agreements/contracts
o Preferably knowledge and experience in Telecom/IT
Creative, proactive, drive for results, detailed oriented, ownership, teamwork, wellorganized, and can work under pressure
