Research and Consulting Interns Based in Beijing (2017 summer intern)


Martec Group, established in 1984 with the headquarters in The US, is an independent B2B market research and strategic consulting firm operating throughout global network. In Asia Pacific region, Martec Shanghai office is responsible for conducting strategic consulting and marketing research projects covering China, Japan, Korea, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand.

Currently, Martec Shanghai has an urgent consulting project and needs to recruit 2-3 interns to help on project execution in Beijing. The project is regarding marketing research and strategic consulting for bulk water Beijing market. The positions will be based in Beijing. The timeline is expected to be two months from early of July to early of September 2017.

Responsibilities:

·       Desk research to collect market information and build contact list for bulk water shops and producers for Beijing.
·       Cold call for telephone and face-to-face interviews with bulk water experts to obtain deep dive market insights regarding market trends, market size, distribution channels, consumption channels and competitive intelligence of leading competitors.
·       Report writing in English and Chinese in PPT format.

Requirements:

·       Excellent communication skills with strangers.
·       Quick learning capability.
·       Able to work under high pressure with deadline and interview quality requirement.
·       Efficiency with English reading and writing.
·       Available to work at least 4 days per week, and preferably 5 days per week in the summer holidays.
·       Experiences with cold call and marketing research are preferable.

Martec Group will provide RMB 150 per day for this position, in additional, we provide RMB 18.75 per hour for OT and upper limit RMB 50 for dinner.

The qualified interns with excellent performance will have the opportunities to switch to be full time staff after their graduation.
