Job Summary

The Red Hat JBoss Middleware Development team is looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will work alongside some of the brightest engineers in open source to create innovative tools. You'll design, code, and test technical solutions. You’ll need to have the basic knowledge of EE technologies and to enjoy solving complex problems.

Primary Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test new features for project releases
Work with the team to find solutions to various issues; reproduce issues and verify fixes
Develop tools to automate tests and release procedures
Communicate task statuses with team members

Required Skills
Knowledge of open source tools like Maven, Ant, Eclipse, and Git
Ability to work with Linux or Fedora
Ability to quickly learn and conduct research for new technologies
The following are considered a plus:
Experience with Java and JEE
Good written and verbal English communication skills
Knowledge of shell scripting or Python
Knowledge of Red Hat JBoss Middleware ecosystems like Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) or WildFly
