[Job Description]
Amazon Global Logistics Technology (AGLT) team is on a mission to build worldwide systems and products for cross-border transportation and logistics services operated and managed by Amazon Global Logistics (AGL). We are building products and capabilities to reduce cost, improve speed & reliability and provide differentiated logistic value added services (VAS) for moving goods across countries with seamless end-to-end customer (shipper, recipient) experience. We are looking for full time software development engineering interns working in Beijing.
In the team, you will be practicing how to build large distributed systems that are reliable, maintainable and scalable. You will get your hands dirty working on full stack of our software. You will be optimising performance through tuning database settings, simplifying workflow management, and enhancing user experience through Web UI.

[A successful candidate would have]

1. Self-driven self-starter who is excited about overcoming hurdles to get things moving in the right direction.

2. Rich programming experience in Java, and other object oriented languages and have a deep understanding of object-oriented design

3. Familiarity with design concepts and patterns.

4. English communication capability

5. Strong ownership.

6. Master degree or graduate student in computer science, engineering or related field is required.
