Summary
Plantronics|Polycom's camera team is seeking a talented intern to work on next-generation leading edge camera products targeted for video conferencing.
In this position, you will work closely with our camera experts to evaluate camera video quality, code image analyzing tools, compare image processing algorithms and improve image / video performance.
20 hours per week for at least 6 months with chance to get employed upon completion of internship.
Responsibilities:
· Perform image / video quality tests
· Assist manager to develop handy software tools for image analysis
· learn and support manager to construct image processing applications with multiple algorithms
· With manager's guide, conduct benchmark and competitive study for existing products
What are we looking for?
· Senior or graduate student with majors related to digital imaging, optics, electric engineering or computer science
· Have taken courses such as image processing, signal processing, computer vision; knowledge of color science / GPU is a plus
· Proficient with MATLAB; familiar with C/C++; Python coding is a plus
· Knowledge of camera components, including lens, sensor, ISP is a plus
· Good English communication and interpersonal skills，
