Job Title:     EMC Summer Intern
Company: EMC Computer System (China) Co., Ltd.
Location:     Beijing (15F, Hyundai Motor Tower, 38 Xiaoyun Road, ChaoYang District)
Period:   2 months during 2009 summer vacation  
Number:  8 students (from SIST & SEM of Tsinghua are preferred)

Job Summary:    
Under direct supervision and mentorship of professional EMC staff, the summer interns will be assigned to work in various departments in EMC.

Main Responsibilities:
-Learn and practice skills through assisting work of experienced employees in various departments.
-Conduct research and analysis on various tasks.
-Support EMC customer activities as appropriate.
-Accomplish other duties as required.

Qualifications
-Ability to communicate effectively
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, technical environment
-Self-motivated
-Good teamwork  
-Basic knowledge of the technical aspects of hardware/software
-Basic IT field knowledge
-Good English skill in translation is preferred

Educational background and experience required:
-Bachelor or Master’s in related fields. (E&E or Computer Science related fields is preferred)
-Students who took Storage Technology Foundations course or certification are preferred

Other requirements:
5 working days per week, but not limited in Monday-Friday base on working needs
