Microsoft Research Asia is recruiting interns for Stars of Tomorrow Internship Program.
Position: Full-time Intern
Group: Innovative Engineering Group (IEG)
Quantity: 2
Duration: 3 months at least
Work Location: Beijing
Group Overview
IEG
The Innovation Engineering Group is a new incubation group based in Microsoft Research Asia. Here teams are small, the environment is unstructured, and the work is fast-paced. One of our projects is an online marketplace that will be hosted in and targeted for the U.S. The project will be publicly available, and leverages technologies such as Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007, ASP.NET, and C#.
Position 1
Requirements:
Software Development Engineer Intern is needed.
1. Pursuing a BS/MS or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
2. 1-2 years experience programming in C/C++/C#, Java and/or other computer programming languages preferred
3. Ability to derive creative and innovative solutions by thinking "outside the box"
Position 2
Requirements:
1. Should be senior undergraduate or master at school.
2. Can work full-timely for 3 months at least, till the end of summer holiday.
3. Should be well-accomplished at C#，.NET.
4. Would be better if familiar with SQL server or other SQL-based database.
5. Would be better if you have knowledge on Silverlight.
Position 3
Responsibility:
1. Build MS internal web application by leveraging advanced research technology
2. Develop & maintain SQL database for website
3. Use AJAX to improve user experience
Required Skills:
1. Familiar with ASP.NET & C# programming
2. Web development with HTML & JavaScript
3. SQL database development skill, writing store procedures
4. Better to have AJAX development experience.
5. Good communication skill
