Company Description:
GetYourGuide Ltd. is an Internet start-up company based in Zurich, Switzerland. Started by 6 students in January 2008, it is an official spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich / 苏黎世联邦理工学院). The ETH Zurich, home to famous scientists such as Einstein and Pauli, is the leading scientific university in mainland Europe.
GetYourGuide operates in the travel sector and provides a new way for booking tours and activities online. The website is currently in a public-alpha version with limited features.
Since online travel is experiencing tremendous growth around the world, especially in China, we want to be a part of it and therefore need 1-2 motivated local students who can assist us in our goals.

Internship Description:
Your job will consist of many different tasks, some of which you might have never performed before. It will be challenging but also highly rewarding. Your tasks will include:
- Marketing: Acquisition of major travel agencies and tour operators in China and other Asian countries
- Analysis: Conduct market research on the Chinese and Asian travel sector
During the internship you will hold presentations and conduct meetings with CEO-level people in the Chinese travel industry.
For your work, you will have constant support from one of our co-founders who is responsible for the China business.

Time demands:
General schedule: April/May - December (and possibly longer depending on how well you work)
Working times: A few hours per week (flexible). There might be peak times where you are required to work more. Work is task-based and working hours also depend on your work efficiency.

Required qualifications:
- Good English in speaking and writing
- Native Mandarin Chinese
- Independent working and thinking
- Prior experience in student associations or business
- Personal interest in business and start-ups
- No specific academic background required
