The x86 driver team is working on device driver support in Solaris on x86 platforms, including storage, wifi, audio and video drivers etc. The daily work will involve:
- Participate software design and relevant discussions;
- Implement some specific well-designed functionalities;
- Working on bug fix and relevant testing;
You will have the opportunity to work in a world class research center with some senior engineers, and grow into an expert in both technical and engineering areas.
Job Description
---------------
Required:
- 2+ years C programming experience
- Solid understanding of Unix/Linux kernel or device driver
- Familiar with software development processes
- Proficient in both oral and written English
- Good team player
Preferred:
- CS or relevant majors
- Linux Kernel or driver programming experience on x86 platform
- System management experience on Solaris, Linux or other Unix variants
- Good communication skills
