A private equity firm in Beijing is looking for a smart, motivated, independent intern to do a project analyzing Chinese companies, starting immediately.
The ideal intern will be
* a Chinese university student, majoring in finance/economics/statistics, or other quantitative field.
* capable of doing statistical analysis (example: know, or be able to figure out, what a Heckman two-stage procedure is), and working with data from the China Statistics Bureau quickly and efficiently.
* English a plus.
What you will get:
This internship is an excellent opportunity to learn how to perform Wall Street-style quantitative finance, and gain experience in investment analysis. If you do a good job, I'll be happy to write a recommendation letter on your behalf. If you’re interested, please e-mail me (in English) at banaorange@gmail.com with why you're interested, your experience and salary expectations, and I'll give you the full details.
